HEALTH ALLIANCE FOR AUSTIN MUSICIANS
|
"The staff at the Health Alliance has proven to be an incredible resource for not only my own personal health care, but it GREATLY aided me in navigating the red tape of CHIP and Medicaid for my 11-year-old son. Thanks to its help, Ellar has health coverage for the first time in 6 years." - Bruce Salmon, keyboardist
HAAM Benefit Day is a uniquely Austin event where businesses donate 5% of the day's proceeds to HAAM to support musicians' health. Musicians, most of whom are HAAM members, perform throughout the day at retail stores, outside stages, City Hall and more. The event runs from 6am to well past midnight and community members are invited to shop, eat out, listen to great live music and enjoy!

"At Whole Foods Market, we are intimately tied to the health of the communities we serve, and we recognize it is our responsibility to give back in meaningful ways. HAAM Benefit Day allows us to both celebrate and support the people who make Austin such a desirable place to live. Whole Foods Market is proud to continue our relationship with the Health Alliance for Austin Musicians because we know that the city of Austin is only as strong and healthy as the wellbeing of its residents."
