Meet Ascension Seton’s Band: The Defibrillators Are Back!

Ascension Seton returns to HAAM's 2026 Corporate Battle of the Bands to defend their title of Best Song! The Defibrillators burst onto the Austin music scene in 2022 at a corporate event with their electrifying blend of soul, Motown, R&B, and gospel. Their infectious energy and knack for getting people dancing quickly made them a favorite at venues large and small. Over the years since then, the Defibrillators have played numerous clubs, private parties, living communities, block parties, and even a previous Battle of the Bands staged at the Austin City Limits stage! The band can engage a crowd like few bands can.

In addition to being one of HAAM’s valued Community Partners in Care, Ascension Seton has been a long-time participant in Corporate Battle of the Bands. We’re thrilled to have them return on June 10th to the ACL Live at the Moody Theater stage this year!

Corporate Battle of the Bands (CBOB) transforms the iconic ACL Live at the Moody Theater stage into the most electrifying night of music and philanthropy! This annual event invites Austin's corporate rockstars to take center stage, competing before a panel of local celebrity judges while raising critical funds for the Health Alliance for Austin Musicians (HAAM). From pop to heavy metal, R&B to alternative rock, sponsoring businesses showcase their employees' unsung talent, battling it out for awards, prizes, and the title of 2026 Corporate Battle of the Bands BEST BAND!
