A Cappella Texas presents Spring Sing Fest

A Cappella Texas proudly presents SpringSing 2026, our fourth annual festival of choral music for the Austin area.

Join us for an afternoon of barbershop, vocal jazz, and classical music performed by a variety of ensembles.

  • The festival is held at Saengerrunde Halle, an Austin landmark and National Historic Site built in 1908. Founded in 1879 by German immigrants, Austin Saengerrunde continues to celebrate German culture through music and fellowship.

  • We welcome all choral singers and genres! Our vision is to build community, collaboration, and lasting partnerships that support music groups and non-profits across Austin, grow audiences, and inspire local participation.

  • Donations are welcome — proceeds support festival production costs and HAAM (the Health Alliance for Austin Musicians).

  • This year's festival is generously underwritten in part by a grant from the CreativeFund.

Chili Cold Blood Chili Cook-Off

Chili Cold Blood is proud to present the 18th Annual Chili Cold Blood Chili Cook-Off (CCBCCO) at The Sagebrush (5500 South Congress) from noon to 7:00 pm on Saturday, February 7, 2026.

All proceeds for the event will be donated to Health Alliance for Austin Musicians (HAAM) in memory of Nick Curran, an Austin-based musician who influenced countless artists and passed away from cancer on October 6, 2012.

In 2012, local Austin rock 'n roller and international blues, rockabilly and badass sensation Nick Curran passed away from complications due to oral cancer. His mark on music history and his continued presence as an influence for so many musicians is why Chili Cold Blood continues to host the CCBCCO in his honor. Nick Curran played drums on Chili Cold Blood's debut album, "Rock 'n Roll Motherf*cker."

Live music performances from Chili Cold Blood, je’Texas, Georgia Parker, and The Faux McCoys.

A $10 donation will be collected at the door with proceeds going directly to HAAM. There is no entry fee for chili cook participants, but donations to HAAM are always encouraged.

Charismatic and hilarious, Jason was one of the most dedicated drummers Austin has known. On January 17th, 2026, we gather at The Lost Well, a venue where Camacho cut his teeth, for a night of music, memory, and love.
Featuring performances by his close friends: Glassing (playing some early cuts), Fuck Money, Blank Hellscape, and God Shell.
Come celebrate Jason the way he lived…loud, in the moment, and surrounded by friends.
