For 21 years, HAAM has carried on the legacy of our founder and Austin music lover Robin Shivers by easing the financial burden of healthcare for local working musicians. On Tuesday, September 22, Austin and local musicians showed up for that mission like never before. HAAM Day 2026 was our largest festival in more than two decades.

We owe a huge round of applause to our HAAM Day Music Festival 2026 presenting sponsors, PNC and C3 Presents, to the City of Austin’s Austin Arts, Culture, Music and Entertainment team, to H-E-B for hosting our headquarters at the beautiful South Congress location, to all our sponsors and community partners, to the amazing staff, sponsors, volunteers, photographers, sound and stage crew, and ESPECIALLY our local musicians and DJs who donated their time and talents to make this day possible and help the dollars you donate go further.

A special shoutout to the legendary Weird Al Yankovic for giving HAAM a shoutout before his show Tuesday night at the Moody Center, and to local hero Mama Duke for making hip-hop history on the steps of the Texas State Capitol! 😍

250.5 hours of live music in a single day. That's about 10.4 straight days of free local music, more than double last year's 120 hours

100+ local businesses gave back through drink specials, merch sales and percentage-of-sales donations on HAAM Day and all month long
The first year of the new HAAM Day Music Fest app, which gave fans the full lineup, a venue guide, showcase listings, and places to eat, drink and shop

From Mariachi Corazón de Tejas to Love & Chaos, Brother Thunder and Andrea Daniela, the day covered the full range of Austin's sound. Stages ranged from the Austin Visitor Center and Antone's Nightclub to Radio/East and the Scoot Inn, with brand partners like Tacodeli and Fast Friends Beer Co. joining in. Once again, HAAM Day Music Festival proved why it's the world's largest one-day, all-local music festival and a three-time Austin Music Awards "Most Creative Event."

Impact & Fundraising

Since 2005, HAAM has provided more than $215 million in healthcare services to Austin's music community, including primary care, dental, hearing, vision and wellness. Every $100 raised becomes about $700 in care for local musicians.

HAAM is anticipating a double digit increase in health insurance costs going into next year. Your ongoing support determines how many musicians HAAM can provide with access to affordable healthcare in 2027.

To help HAAM prepare for increased healthcare costs, we are looking for additional support leading up to Open Enrollment this fall. Help us meet and EXCEED our fundraising goal for a chance to win a C3 Guest Pass to ACL Fest Weekend 2!
