The Bottomless at Cheer Up Charlies
Forged from the smoldering flames of an alliance between the enigmatic, best friends T.J., Brandon and the hyperkinetic, electrifying AJ “The Rock” Johnson, we defy time and space. More prosaic souls would say we formed in 2017 and are based in Austin, Texas. Progressive punk is the perfect vehicle for what we love: getting crazy about serious stuff with a message that can only be conveyed in pentatonic polyrhythms.

alexalone at Alienated Majesty Books
The sounds of alexalone will usher you into warm, fuzzy, lonely spaces, then shock you alive with pulsing energy. On the band’s sweeping sophomore album, ALEXALONE TECHNICAL RESEARCH, alexalone expands their sound with jarring and intricate rhythms, while at the same time introducing incredibly lush shoegaze soundscapes that are at times both dissonant and cohesive. Standouts such as “ALL I NEED” and “FULL BODY LEARNING,” highlight just how powerful the band’s music is - a beautifully chaotic world that is all-encompassing and undeniably mesmerizing.
