James is "Austin's Most Eclectic Folk Singer", seamlessly blending a few dozen original songs with a 1200+ song book of covers, ranging from Hank Williams to Taylor Swift and hitting most points in between. James' favorite song is the song you forgot you loved, or are about to love as soon as you hear it! He's played close to 900 gigs in his first 4 years in Austin and shows no signs of slowing down, merely diversifying (he also plays in Haitches, a folk harmony duo, and Kathleen Turner Overdrive, an 80s-ish dance band, and is building a 90s party band trio which will also collaborate on his original music).
